1. When does my eSIM data plan start? #
Your eSIM data plan typically starts after you have successfully installed and activated the eSIM on your device, according to the instructions provided.
2. When should you activate your eSIM plan? #
Gohub recommends activating your eSIM plan a few hours before your flight to ensure it’s ready for use upon arrival. A good guideline is to activate it 2-3 hours before your flight.
3. Can I renew or extend the data usage on my eSIM? #
Most Gohub eSIMs are designed for travel and typically cannot be renewed or extended. However, some of our eSIM products now support data top-up.
3.1 How to Check if Your eSIM Can Be Topped Up #
- Check Your eSIM Plan Details: If your plan displays “Top-up Options: Yes”, it means you can extend your data without needing to install a new eSIM.
- No Top-Up Option? In that case, you will need to purchase a new eSIM plan once your current one runs out.
3.2 What to Do When You Run Out of Data #
- Option 1 – Top-Up Your eSIM (only for supported plans): Follow the instructions provided in your eSIM email or user dashboard to add more data.
- Option 2 – Purchase a New eSIM Plan: A new plan will be delivered instantly and ready for immediate activation.
- Delete Your Used eSIM (Optional): While not required, removing old eSIM profiles can help keep your device organized.
Gohub is committed to providing clear information about our eSIM plans and usage. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team for assistance.
